Estimator (M&E Services)
Location: Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (Benefits negotiable at interview)

We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator with a background in M&E to join the team and support expanding portfolios. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional looking for an immediate start in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for M&E services, covering mechanical, electrical, and HVAC elements across various sectors.
  • Bid & Tender Preparation: Compile, review, and manage competitive bids and tender documents to win new business.
  • Client Communication: Engage with clients to understand project specifications, ensure alignment with expectations, and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis for M&E projects, tracking labor, materials, and resources to ensure accurate budgeting.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed on industry trends, material costs, and competitor activity to refine pricing strategies and maintain competitiveness.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in Estimating within the Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) field.
  • Strong understanding of M&E services, with experience in HVAC being highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with relevant software tools for estimating and cost management.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
